Auger Powder Sampler



Extracts a representative powder sample from pack-off booths, drop chutes and hopper.
Can be either manually or automatically operated.

Operation

The auger is ran in reverse to clean the sampler of any powder
The auger is now ran in a forward direction, this pushes the powder towards the sampling valve
The sampling valve is opened and the auger pushes the sample into the sampling bottle
The auger is ran in reverse to ensure that any non sampled powder is removed from the sampler chute prior to shutting down

Options

A Sampler Carousel can be used to take discrete or composite samples at intervals and bottle each separately.
Manually or automatically controlled.
A Quick Disconnect Sampler allows the operator to remove the screw for cleaning. between batch runs or at regular intervals for cleaning.
Containment of the sample bottle using a cabinet.
Sample bottle connection can be machined to suit customer supplied bottle.
Nitrogen Purge/Solvent Flush Valve can be fitted.
